It is with great sadness that the WKGB reports the sad passing of Mitsusuke Harada.
Sensei Harada studied directly underGichin Funakoshi the founder of Shotokan, and in 1956, Funakoshi awarded Harada the rank of 5thdan, which was then the highest rank in Shotokan karate.
Sensei Harada founded the KDS (Karate-do Shotokai) organisation in 1965 and has been a much-respected member of the WKGB since its formation in 1980.
Sensei Harada was a very humble and generous man and the WKGB wishes to place its respect and tribute to his memory on record.
